Growing up in Kingston, Ontario, I started my career in art attending the three year Graphic Design program at St. Lawrence College in Kingston. Upon graduation, I moved to Ottawa where I was hired as a graphic / web designer for a 3D scanning company that specialized in film prop and live actor scanning. Different 3D applications were used to create models out of the scanned data which got me interested in the world of 3D design. I continued to work in Ottawa as a graphic / web designer for about a year until I decided to continue my education into the world of film and 3D.

In the summer of 2010 I enrolled into the one year Visual Effects for Film and Television program at Seneca College (York University campus). I was amazed that knowledge of a 3D application could break down so many limitations that are currently only offered by standard 2D design applications like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Since the completion of the Visual Effects for Film and Television program, I’ve had the opportunity to work on film and television shows that have been featured on HBO, AMC, Discovery Channel, and the CBC. I've also had the opportunity to extend my experiences and knowledge of design through teaching three classes in the Graphic Design program at Loyalist College, in Belleville, Ontario.
